Falcon 50

Overview

The Falcon 50 is arguably the finest and most versatile "super mid-size" aircraft ever built. With its 3 engine design, it can operate out of landing strips as short as 4,000 feet, has 3,130 nautical mile range, and can depart "hot and high" airports (Aspen, Vail) while other aircraft cannot. The third engine gives an added safety margin when operating over the ocean or remote regions.

The stand-up (5'10") cabin seats 9 people, has 2 large screen video monitors, DVD/CD player, Sirius Satellite Radio, Airshow 400 with moving map and nose camera. The interior was completely redone in 2007, with all new soft goods, beautiful mahogany veneer, and super soundproofing.

Galley

As you enter the aircraft you will pass through the galley on your way to the cabin. The galley is equipped with fine crystal and china, silverware and accessories. A microwave, coffeemaker, and sink provide the basics for an excellent meal.

Forward Cabin

The forward cabin contains 4 club seats which swivel, recline and berth. There are 2 writing tables that stow while not in use. There is a 14" video screen serving this seat grouping.

Aft Cabin

The aft cabin has a wrap-around "J" couch that seats 4 plus one aft-facing single seat. This 5 place grouping is very inviting and conducive to a business meeting or just socializing. There is a large fold out table that serves all 5 seats in this area, as well as a 15" video monitor.

Lavatory

There is a fully enclosed forward lavatory with toilet, sink and vanity.

Baggage Hold

Unlike most of its mid-size competitors, the Falcon 50 has a cavernous luggage area. It can easily accommodate 8 sets of golf clubs plus luggage for 9 passengers plus crew. For comparison, the Falcon 50 has 115 cubic feet of luggage space compared to 48 for a Hawker 800XP and 48 cubic feet for the Lear 60.
